LARGE CHEST FREEZERS

Large chest freezers are an excellent choice for laboratories that require long-term sample storage and do not need constant access to the samples. Thanks to their spacious design, large chest freezers offer ample storage space whilst ensuring high operational efficiency. Despite their larger capacity, all large chest freezers from Nordic Lab have the same external width as smaller models. This means they can be transported through standard doors. This simplifies logistics, installation and set-up in existing laboratory environments. This practical design feature offers laboratories greater flexibility when planning equipment layout and facilitates the integration of large storage solutions into existing facilities without the need for structural alterations or special access routes to the laboratory.

 

Thanks to their horizontal design, chest freezers are inherently more energy-efficient than upright freezers. When the lid is opened, the cold air remains inside the appliance, thereby minimising temperature fluctuations and reducing energy consumption.
